Update Midway Theme for WP

  Hello, I downloeded the midway.zip file but still don’t how how to install the upgrade from there. Can you please help with a “How to” instruction.
  Thanks
  PS: does it upgrade only to WP 5.5. or the new 5.6 version of WordPress?

  Thank you ihor for your quick answer. I installed the jquery-migrate-helper plugin but unfortunately the upload of the new midway.zip file did not work. I got the following error:

  jQuery Migrate Helper — Warnings encountered

  Diese Seite erzeugte folgende Warnungen:

  ***: jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated
  ***: jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated

  Entpacken des Pakets …

  Das Theme wird installiert …

  Der Zielordner existiert bereits. ***

  Theme-Installation fehlgeschlagen.

  So WordPress did not suggest to rewrite the old version but just stopped the Installation of the Theme apparently because a certain file or directory already exists.
  Any other suggestion what we need to do?

  Ihor, please delete my previous post (or at least all links pointing towards our website). Is there any way I can delete or edit my own posts in this forum?
  One more question: the currently active theme is Midway Child and not just Midway. Can we use the same .ZIP file nevertheless for the update?
