Record activity on profile pages

  Hi,
  I would like to use a plugin to record visitor info/counts on the individual profile pages, but they all seem to only read “pages” or “posts” but the profiles aren’t classed as either. What are the profile pages classed as ?
  I know I could do this using individual urls from each profile, but I presume there is an easier way ?
