Questions: Edit title and add additional text

  • Omid

    Hi there

About the QUESTIONS section at the end of each lesson:

    1. Is there a way to add text before the Question section at the end of each lesson? I’ve noticed that students make questions out of context or writing everything in upper case. It would be nice to give a short instruction right after Questions.

    2. I cannot see the Question Title when I answer the questions in the Comment section. At times it is important as part of the question is in the Title. Also, how would I edit the title? This is especially important for the first lesson, where prospective students get a feel of the course. Some titles got mixed up or are need editing.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks, Omid.

    Hi there

    1. Added the instruction successfully! Resolved. Thanks.

    2. The problem is, that I don’t see the question header, when answering the question. I had to publish the question, locate the lesson and find the question to see the title in the front end, to go back to answer the question in the dashboard. This can get confusing and creating additional work for instructors.

    A student might write:
    Plugin XYZ:
    What is its function?

I’ll then only see ‘What is its function?’ in the back end.

From what you wrote, there seems to be only this workaround, publishing it, finding the title and then going back to answer the complete question. I now also gave instructions before the question section to students formulate their questions completely, that they can be understood ‘out of context’.

Please let me know, if you have any better solution or additional thoughts on that.

    Thanks, Omid.
