Manually grant access to courses?

  • deleveled

i can’t seem to add a user to a course manually?

i have woocommerce 2.1 & woocommerce subscriptions installed

when I manually add them on the course page, they are being asked to subscribe.

the subscriptions are active, the course is set to premium, and the course product matches subscription. i seem to be missing something?!

i am using plans, and that seemed to work – thanks!

i have different plan levels with each higher plan allowing more access to content. so the highest plan get’s all the content. do i need to duplicate the course for each plan level??

what is the best/correct way to set it up so they are automatically granted access to the course when they subscribe and pay online?

i’m still having a few issues here supposing i have 3 intro courses and one intro plan, what i should do is link the plan to each course?

then the user will subscribe to the intro plan and have 1 subscription to choose from out of the 3 courses and won’t be able to access the other intro courses?

So if I’m using plans for my intro level courses I will need to make a plan for each intro level course?

If I make all the courses free and I’m using plans, can I have both manually added free members and members who have paid subscriptions?

thanks a ton for helping me!

Still trying to get this to work right…

I’ve set up separate plans and linked a one course category and one product in the plan editor.

Under courses I’ve linked the categories for each level, added a product, and made the status free (instead of premium).

New users are still being asked to “subscribe to view this content” after they’ve clicked subscribe, registered, & paid via paypal.

I’m having an issue, where non-paying members I manually add to a plan are having to be manually re-added to the plan every month?

Another issue is the auto-complete order woo commerce plugin is not auto-completing orders, so I have to manually complete every paying order?
